high performance
Did you know wool is one of the highest performing natural fibres? It has elasticity, is anti-static (meaning it attracts less dust), is a naturally flame retardant, and has excellent abrasion resistance.
It is a beautifully soft resilient fibre that is also easy to clean and features excellent stain and water repellent properties.
long-lasting
The durability of wool ensures longevity, resulting in a greater lifespan. This is why wool throws and blankets become heirlooms handed down through generations and are sought after secondhand purchases.
A wool floor rug is likely to be more resilient than other compositions as the fibres are elastic and less likely to break. Weave rugs with a high wool content are a great choice for this and are usually suitable for high traffic areas. They are also perfect for keeping your toes warm, especially during those cooler seasons.

Wool is a natural insulator and locks away moisture within the pores of the fibre which keeps the fabric dryer and you warmer. Wool is a renewable fibre choice. Every year, 100 million sheep across New Zealand and Australia produce a new fleece, making wool a completely renewable fibre.
biodegradable
Wool is also one of the most easily recycled fibres where at the end of its life, it is fully biodegradable. When wool fibre is disposed of, it will decompose fully and naturally in soil within a few months or years and will add nutrients back into environment.
